Arthur Dion

Hanna (born March 7, 1928 in Pompey Bay), th e policies of the Bahamas Governor-General since February 2006. F rom March 1956 to the Progressive Liberal Party. On behalf of the party served in parliament from 1960-1992 and served a number of ministerial functions, including Deputy Prime Minister (1967-1984), Minister for Education, Minister of Industry and Trade, Minister of the Interior, Minister of Finance. In February 2006 he took the position of Governor-General, replacing Ivy Dumont (from December 2005 he was Acting Governor Paul Adderley).
